Faith is one of the most personal parts of our human experience. It’s something we hold near and dear to our identity, which means it’s often something that we shield and protect from the rest of the world. The problem with that is our faith becomes controlled by rules we didn’t invent and that God didn’t give us, keeping us from living an active faith. Jacqueline Bussie’s book, “Outlaw Christian,” seeks to shake that up by naming 6 faith rules we’ve created that we need to break. Each week, we’ll address a chapter of the book as we prepare for Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season. Recordings of the videos will be posted on our here.
